Living in Mem-Martins, Portugal, life changed for André when as a kid he saw “Jurassic Park” at the age of six. From that moment on, he knew what he wanted to do in life: to tell stories and to scare the hell out of people. He spent a year in the United States, in the small town of Edgerton, WI, where he completed the last year of high school and had the chance, among other things, to play for the school band at Disneyworld Orlando and to participate in the plays “Jabberwock” and “The Music Man”. He has also written movie articles for several Portuguese publications, as well as done some translations from English to Portuguese.
His short story “Killer App” has been selected as part of the Youth4Tomorrow/Almond Press Horror Writing Contest and will be published in the collection “Visceral Portugal”. He is currently working on other short stories, the novella “Red Line” and the full-length novel “The Bond”.
