graduated from Hull University with a degree in Mathematics and, after a brief spell teaching in further education, had a lengthy career in IT as an application developer. In his spare time, he pursued his musical interests, playing piano in a swing combo and contributing to a local theatre company as musical director. Having taken early retirement, he decided to encourage an early interest in fiction and bring out some of the stories that had been circulating in his mind for years. He took a course in creative writing to help him bring this to fruition. In addition to his fiction, he maintains a blog as an outlet for his poetry, some of which he reads at open mic sessions held by the Pub Poets local poetry group. Steven lives in the seaside town of Blackpool, England.
